CopeWell Psychiatry primarily provides psychiatric care for individuals ages 17 to 64.
Medication changes and refills are best addressed during scheduled visits. Follow up appointments are generally required every 30 to 90 days, depending on your treatment needs and medications.
Controlled medications require monthly visits, PDMP review, and periodic drug screening when appropriate. Automatic refills are not provided for controlled medications. Refills require an appointment, so please plan ahead to avoid running out, as CopeWell Psychiatry does not provide emergency refill services.
CopeWell Psychiatry does not provide primary treatment for conditions requiring specialized or higher levels of care, including primary psychotic disorders, schizophrenia, personality disorders, autism, TBI, and active substance use disorders.
We also do not provide emergency or crisis care, benzodiazepine management, or controlled medications for patients receiving opioid agonist treatment.
Please provide at least 24 hours notice when canceling or rescheduling. Late cancellations and missed appointments are charged 100% of the scheduled appointment fee and are not billed to insurance.
Arriving more than 10 minutes late may result in cancellation of your appointment. Repeated missed or late cancelled appointments may result in discharge from the practice.
CopeWell Psychiatry & Wellness is not an emergency or crisis service. If you are unable to keep yourself safe, have suicidal or homicidal thoughts with intent or a plan, or are experiencing another psychiatric emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. You may also call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
