Mental health care shaped by listening, clinical expertise, and a whole‑person approach.

CopeWell Psychiatry & Wellness was created to provide a more personal and intentional approach to outpatient mental health care. We understand that seeking psychiatric care can feel overwhelming, and our goal is to create an environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, sharing your concerns, and taking an active role in your care.
At CopeWell Psychiatry, you are more than a diagnosis. Our work combines traditional psychiatric care with advanced options such as Spravato® (esketamine), TMS referrals, ADHD evaluation and testing, genetic testing, and thoughtful medication optimization. We take the time to understand what brings you in, what matters to you, and what you hope to gain from treatment, so your care feels purposeful, collaborative, and tailored to you.

Doctor of Nursing Practice, Dual Board Certified in
Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Practice

Dr. Udo Chukwuocha, brings more than 13 years of experience across inpatient care, primary care, case management, and outpatient psychiatry. Her approach is warm, collaborative, culturally responsive, and grounded in treating the whole person. In addition to evidence-based psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and interventional psychiatry, care may incorporate lifestyle and behavioral strategies, laboratory testing, supplementation, genetic testing, and other integrative tools when appropriate.
She especially enjoys working with young adults and college students, busy professionals, nurses and other healthcare workers, women navigating mental health concerns, and individuals from diverse cultural and immigrant backgrounds. Above all, Dr. Chukwuocha wants her patients to feel genuinely heard and understood, better understand their mental health, and have an active voice in their treatment.

Over the course of her healthcare career, she became increasingly passionate about mental health and creating a space where people could talk openly about what they were experiencing without feeling judged, dismissed, or reduced to a diagnosis. That vision became CopeWell Psychiatry & Wellness—a practice built around thoughtful, individualized care where patients feel seen, heard, and empowered to take an active role in their mental health and well-being. The name CopeWell reflects that purpose: helping people not simply get through difficult seasons, but develop the support and tools they need to cope well and move forward.

At CopeWell Psychiatry & Wellness, we believe mental health care should be personal, collaborative, and centered around you as a whole person. We take the time to understand not only your symptoms, but also your experiences, culture, lifestyle, physical health, and the goals that matter most to you.
Our approach combines evidence based psychiatric care with thoughtful integrative strategies when appropriate. Most importantly, we want you to feel heard, understood, and actively involved in your care, with a clear understanding of your treatment options and the confidence to make informed decisions about your mental health.
